Bin 51

While driving through St. Louis a few weeks back I noticed a billboard with one of my pictures on it.  It was for a wine store in in Edwardsville called Bin 51.  I did some work for them a little while back for a nice bottle of scotch and a bottle of whiskey.  Totally forgot about it until I saw this sign.

Bellefontaine and Calvary

Over the weekend I found myself back in St. Louis.  Most of my trip was taken up with business and family affairs.  I did however find some time for a little bit of photography.  These images are from Calvary and Bellefontaine Cemeteries in St. Louis.  If you like angels or cemetery photography this is a must stop.  There are countless statuary and memorials that are one of a kind at these locations.   The best thing is that these cemeteries are right next to each other so you have twice the pictures opportunities.

DC

Last week I was sent to Washington DC on a photo assignment.  My wife and I decided to go a few days earlier to take some fun shots of the city.  Below are a few shots from the Metro, National Mall, Arlington Cemetery and a crazy squirrel.

TLC

About two years ago my church asked me to take a picture of their building (see previous post from  two years ago for the final image).  Last month one of our pastors had his 20th anniversary.  The church asked me to turn this photograph into a painting and frame it for him.  So I worked my photoshopping magic and below is the image I came up with.  Enjoy!

South Dakota

A few weeks back I took a break from the hustle and bustle of life and went to South Dakota for a weekend of nothing but photography.  It was on awesome weekend for the weather was perfect and the light was spectacular.  The three main places I concentrated an were the ghost town of Owanka,  Spearfish Canyon and the Badlands.  Below are a few of the images I took that weekend.
